Being born a Dirty South Boy Somewhere in Louisiana, I was naturally surrounded by a wide range of music genres in my childhood from Jazz to Classic Rock, R&B, Zydeco and Funk. At age 7, after school daily, I began spinning on my uncles turntables and exploring what are now your classic vinyl records. This led me to Deejaying family events after my uncle would get too inebriated to spin under his own ability.
While serving in the United States Marine Corp 1989, I acquired my first set of turntables and began delving deeper into the art form of the DJ. My departure from the Marines in 1994 led me to Phoenix, Arizona where I met my mentor DJ Albert Linesses (AL3). Under his guidance and direction Albert immediately placed me into the hottest clubs in Arizona. I considered this opportunity to be a blessing as it taught me how to read my crowds and alternatively program my play sets.
In 1995 I was signed to an Indie record label and began writing and producing my own music as well as learning the in and outs of a recording studio. I was then signed to a rock band “Buddah Stick” where I played keys along with lead and backup vocals. This allowed me to have an appreciation for an extensive range of music tastes along with providing me the ability to be a versatile DJ.
Looking for greater challenges and goals, I moved to Las Vegas from Phoenix where I had been Deejaying and producing music for 13 years. Las Vegas immediately opened doors and provided me the opportunity to take on some noteworthy projects thus furthering my DJ career. My new goals and accomplishments will allow me to continue to offer my services to greater projects as they present themselves. I picture myself in the future working in recording studios and the movie business, applying my skills as a professional DJ/Producer/Actor.
