A community service of EOB, KCEP-FM provides more than 150,000 listeners each week an eclectic blend of hip hop and R&B, locally produced public affairs programming and cultural programs. The station broadcasts throughout the Las Vegas Valley on its frequency of 88.1 FM. As a member-supported, non-commercial station, KCEP is proud to be an National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate station.


Black History Month

Black History Month, or National African American History Month, is an annual celebration of achievements by black Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of African Americans in U.S. history. The event grew out of “Negro History Week,” the brainchild of noted historian Carter G. Woodson and other prominent African Americans.

Whereas; KCEP has made a notable difference in the lives of many residents and inspire, empower, educate and strengthen families through core values of equality, localism, pride of community, public service and diversity. Therefore; in recognition of KCEP's dedication and spirit of community commitment to residents and local businesses it takes great pride in proclaming 2.1.2012 KCEP-Power 88 Day!

 

 


A Star Struck New Year
Vegas had more stars come out New Year’s Eve than any other city in the world. BOB at LAX, John Legend at the Palms, Chris Brown at Pure and Vanessa Williams at the Riviera just to name a few. However, the golden ticket to have was to celebrate 2012 with Stevie Wonder at the Cosmopolitan.
