The KCEP-FM studios are located at 330 West Washington Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89106. That’s on the corner of Washington Avenue and "D" Street. Map

Q: What is KCEP's broadcasting power?

KCEP-FM has a transmitter located on Black Mountain in Henderson, Nev., and broadcasts at 10,000 watts.

Q: How long has KCEP been on the air?

KCEP began as an FM station in 1972, broadcasting 5 for 5 blocks. In the 1980's with community donations it was able to establish a tower on Black Mountain and began broadcasting 10,000 watts.

Q: Who owns KCEP?

Since its inception in 1972, KCEP-FM, a non-commercial, community radio station, has been owned and operated by the Economic Opportunity Board of Clark County, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. KCEP-FM serves more than 115,000 listeners each week.
